DST News: Bangladesh will take on touring West Indies this evening in the final T20 match of the three-match series. After losing the first two games due to batting failures, this match has become crucial for the Tigers to avoid a whitewash.
The two sides will face off on Friday (October 31) at the Birshreshtha Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.
The match will begin at 6 PM. Phil Simmons’ side, trapped in a cycle of defeats, skipped practice and chose to rest at the hotel ahead of the final game. Neither in their on-field performance nor in their pre-match preparations has there been any sign of a comeback spirit. In contrast, despite having already sealed the series, the Caribbean team continued their training as usual.
On the other hand, the West Indies cricketers have sharpened their skills in an optional practice session. Darren Sammy’s men are determined to complete the whitewash and avenge their previous home defeat to Bangladesh.
