DST News: Israeli forces have launched a new series of air strikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis, killing at least 28 people and injuring more than 77 others, according to local health authorities. The attacks come amid continued fighting despite a ceasefire framework backed by international mediators.

In southern Lebanon, Israel carried out additional strikes hours after earlier attacks killed at least 14 people, escalating tensions along the Israel–Lebanon frontier.

Gaza’s Government Media Office reported that Israel has conducted 393 violations of the most recent ceasefire, resulting in 280 deaths and 672 injuries.

According to the latest figures from Gaza’s health authorities, at least 69,513 Palestinians have been killed and 170,745 injured since the conflict began in October 2023. The war erupted after the Hamas-led attacks of October 7, 2023, in which 1,139 people were killed in Israel and around 200 taken captive.

The rising death toll and renewed strikes highlight the ongoing fragility of ceasefire efforts and the widening humanitarian crisis across the region.
