DHAKA, Nov 18, 2025 (BSS) — The three-member delegation included Senior Economist Mehreen A. Mahbub and Operations Manager Gaëlle Martin.

Dr. Rahman was accompanied by economist Dr. Mizanur Rahman, former senior secretary Muhammad Sofiullah, and Jamaat’s foreign affairs adviser Professor Dr. Mahmudul Hasan.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues, including reforms in Bangladesh’s financial sector, sustainable economic development, taxation policies, and challenges in the country’s social sectors. The conversation focused on long-term structural improvements and areas where international cooperation could support national priorities.
